Please note that the country of your residence may differ from the country listed on your identity document (passport, ID card) if you are living in a country different from your country of citizenship.

Advice

Please note that we can issue a payment card only to clients with the EEA residency. In case you have previously selected a country outside of the EEA, this service will not be available for you. You will still be able to enjoy other services.

Identity confirmation

Begin the self-identification process by taking a selfie along with your ID documents. Make sure that all details are clearly visible

Advice

1. Your face should be clearly visible, you should look like the photo in your ID 2. Take the selfie with uniform diffused light falling on you from the front. Remove bright sources of light from the face 3. The camera should be approximately at your eye - level 4. Please check the accuracy of the fields you have filled during the previous registration step. Data from the scanned ID documents must match the data you entered in your registration form 5. When scanning an ID, all fields in the frame must be visible

Select your gender and enter your personal name and surname

Advice

Your full name should match the name on your document, regardless of whether it contains two, three, or more words

Address Verification

10.1

Add documents that show your name and the address you provided in the previous step Suitable documents that will fit for it:

Bank statement (3 months or less old);
Utility bills for an apartment, electricity, gas, water supply, fixed Internet, cable TV;
Landline telephone (3 months or less old);
Declared address (registration), if it is indicated in your country;
A letter from a state institution, for example, from the land service with the calculation of the land tax for the current year;
Identity card of the resident;
Driving license (both sides, merged into a single document);
Student ID (both sides, merged into a single document);
Permanent or temporary residence permits;
Lease agreement (for European Union countries only);
Identification document or passport (for European Union countries only); Mobile phone bills are not accepted

If your citizenship doesn’t match your residence address, then in the future we will additionally request proof from you: a residence permit, a D-type visa, or a refugee document (After opening an account, Blackcatcard support will contact you via SMS, chat, and email. They will ask you to provide these documents to confirm your residency status. You will need to send a copy of a document in the reply message)

Select the country in which you are employed. This does not have to be your country of residence

Select an estimated income per month and an estimated number of transactions per month

Personal identification number

Fill in your personal identification number

Advice

The identification number is the number allocated to you by the country of your citizenship and/or residence. In case you don't know where to find it, click the "Where can I find this number?" button, and follow the instructions

Data checking

13.1

Review the information you have provided so far and make sure it is correct. Rescan the ID document if there are any mistakes
